Angela Hession, Managing Partner
Angela Hession is the Managing Partner of The Network Companies LLC, an Austin, TX–based communications, affinity marketing and consulting firm. In this capacity, Angela uses her business and government background to oversee The Network’s business development, resource investment and growth.
Prior to founding The Network with her partners, Angela served as president of Hession and Associates, Inc., a branding, creative event design, and consulting and communications firm with offices in Austin, TX. She led Hession and Associates with extensive experience in the creation, production and management of major events – be they corporate or political, association or private – in New York, Washington and throughout the country.
Prior to founding Hession and Associates, Angela Hession served seven years in the administration of New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. As Associate Chief of Staff, she oversaw sensitive projects, business development and recruitment issues, high profile politically significant events and interagency relations.
Angela was also responsible for managing Mayor Giuliani’s private events, as well as the organization and overseeing of numerous large, multi-faceted public events. She managed numerous receptions, including major headline entertainment, at Gracie Mansion – the Mayor’s private residence – with guest lists ranging from 200 to over 2,000 attendees. Angela also produced many major memorable public events, including several New York Yankees’ tickertape parades, the Crystal Apple Awards, Theater Week, annual Inner Circle events, several Emmy parties, and the post-9/11 Memorial Services held at Yankee Stadium and the World Trade Center site.
Prior to her move to the United States, Angela owned a large mushroom farm in the west of Ireland. By introducing and infusing modern management and agricultural techniques, Angela significantly increased exports and profits, gaining her recognition as one of the youngest successful farmers in modern Ireland and one of that country’s most accomplished female entrepreneurs.
At The Network, Angela works directly with a wide variety of clients – national and international – providing services ranging from business development, corporate and charitable affinity marketing, and strategic communications.
Angela resides in Austin, TX, with her family.
