LANSING – Michigan Republican Party announced the creation of its downloadable, interactive toolbar today. The MI GOP’s toolbar is free, and it allows supporters, activists, and volunteers to fundraise at the click of a button. It also provides breaking news, updates, and messages directly from the MRP to their web browser of choice.

“I am excited about this revolutionary tool that will undoubtedly help the party to raise funds in this all important election year,” said Michigan Republican Party Chairman Saulius “Saul” Anuzis. “The MI GOP toolbar is just the latest computer-based instrument the MRP has unveiled recently that will help make a difference in the outcome of this year’s elections. By providing up to date news, activists, volunteers, and supporters will know what they can do to make this election a successful one.”

The MRP Toolbar is free. Once users download the toolbar, each time they use it to search the Internet they will helping the party raise money at no cost to them. The Michigan Republican Party teamed up with FreeCause.com and TheNetworkCompanies.com to provide this new tool.

Just last month, the MI GOP revealed its newly redesigned website. The MRP website features the Michigan Republican eLeader Program, a social network where Republicans from all over the state can get involved with campaigns, share information, and advocate on behalf of GOP candidates.
